OUR FOUNDER
Founded by multi-entrepreneur Ria Harris Yarborough, the Beyond Beautiful World Foundation was incorporated on September 12, 2024. As the creator of the Beyond Beautiful World Pageant, Ria recognized the need for a structured, impactful initiative to support women in achieving their career and business goals. Her passion for mentorship and economic empowerment led to the creation of this Foundation, which serves as a beacon of opportunity for women worldwide.
PROGRAMS & INTIATIVES
ENTREPRENEURIAL FAIR
One of our cornerstone initiatives is the Entrepreneurial Fair, a unique event designed to empower female tweens, teens, and adult women by giving them the opportunity to showcase their ventures, gain valuable business insights, and connect with potential angel investors. This event fosters an environment of innovation and collaboration, ensuring that the next generation of female entrepreneurs has access to the resources necessary for success.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
To further our mission, the Beyond Beautiful World Foundation offers several prestigious scholarships to help women pursue their academic and career aspirations:
W. Mae Harper Steward National Scholars Award
Open to women across the United States who require financial assistance to continue their post-secondary education.
Mariama Hodari Global Scholars Award
Designed to help women living outside the United States who demonstrate financial need in pursuing post-secondary education.
Annie Laura Squalls Entrepreneurial Excellence Award
Available to women 18 years and older living in the continental U.S. who are pursuing careers in culinary arts, hospitality, beauty, cosmetology, or healthcare.
Julia Augusta Business Visionary Award
For women 18 years and older in the continental U.S. seeking certification in high-demand fields such as IT, construction, automotive, real estate, and transportation.
